The Bourgogne Aligoté by Joseph Drouhin pays homage to an identity grape variety of Burgundy, preserved in a few selected parcels where it once coexisted with Chardonnay. The maison vinifies and ages it in steel tanks for a period of six to ten months, in contact with the fine lees, in order to preserve its purity and direct character. On the nose, it releases aromas of fresh grapes and citrus fruits, with delicate floral hints and a note of flint. On the palate, it is fresh and lively, supported by a clean balance between softness and freshness, with a refreshing finish. Perfect with a plate of raw oysters
